eBay Affiliate Program

You’ve now got all of the premises I’ve used to make me money with the eBay affiliate program. There is a lot more involved to further monetize your website, supplement your income, and eventually become financially prosperous. Once you’ve spent about 2 months writing articles, trading links, and further promoting your site so you’ve got an understanding of this program, you should begin to brainstorm ideas for your next site while still worrying about your first. All together, you should have about 7-10 web sites in operation. As we advance through the Success Steps System we’ll learn to create additional streams of revenue and enhance your current streams. In this economy, I’d (and you probably) rather have a bunch of small rivers as opposed to one big river. As we’ve realized lately, everything comes to an end and you have a bigger chance of suffering defeat if your big river is gone.
When will my site make me money?
My first site I ever started, selling bluetooth devices, took 2 months to make me $6.53. It’s funny, even though it was such a little amount, I got a sense of reward that all of my efforts finally were coming to fruition. However, once I started to understand what I was doing, I had sites that took only days after I created it to make me money and continue to do so. Talk about how to make quick cash!
Your first site will be your worst
It’s wildly understood that your first eBay affiliate program website will be your worst. One of the most common mistakes first timers do is they either create a site in a highly competitive market or they do not specify their micro niche enough. After you create your second site, which will undoubtedly be better then the first, you will notice the mistakes you made on the first site and continue on. What I always do is to keep a log of everything I did that was successful for promoting the site, hence the reason I’m able to remember everything to give you guys.
Go over your money making checklist:
Your ability to effectively execute what I’ve laid out for you will determine how quick or how slow you make money. I can just about guarantee that if you’ve followed everything I’ve presented to you, you’ll make money.
I remember the first time I made an eBay Affiliate Program site, I thought I had everything figured out. My site was going to make me at least $300 a week because I knew how to write! Dream on Will! Just like it takes a bunch of streams of revenue to make you financially prosperous, it takes a bunch of tactics that I needed to implement to make me money. Thankfully, I figured it out and now I’m consistently making 3-4 figures a week.

Quick Cash HubPages Experiment-week 1

Well, week 1 is in the bag for my quest to see how much quick cash I could make posting on HubPages. I’ve gone beyond my expectations of posting one a day and have completed 11 “Hubs” this week. Needless to say, things are beginning to pick up, but not like I expected.
The first 3 days of the experiment netted me $5.26, yeah I know, not much. If you’re wondering, all of those Hubs were created using optimized niche keywords which I found to have very little competition and suitable for me to create a 500+ word article, all the while being heavily searched. I even implemented some of Micro Niche Finder’s Hot Trends option to select some topics, the Brett Favre signing with the Vikings fiasco was one of them. I’ve mixed it up, some of the pages linking back to my sites with information relevant to the Hub and some just about generally searched information as an attempt to get AdSense revenue.
After a couple days of frustration, I mean come on I’m not used to making a measly $5.26 in 3 days, I’d be better off standing by the Lincoln Tunnel begging for money, I started to reap my rewards. Now, I know that is not something to alert the media about, but I started as a completely new user on HubPages and had little status, so my pages weren’t given as much publicity and importance as they’ve slowly become. It’s a clear answer on how to make quick cash as I have now put it probably 2 hours or less of work for these Hubs. Now, as these Hubs sit there and advance up search engine rankings, they will make me money. So, for 2 hours of work, I’ll continue to make money as long as the Hubs have visitors. I bet the work you do at your paid by the hour job doesn’t resinate to your paycheck next year does it?
This is why I emphasize the need to be patient. Making money online is to be treated like a fine wine, you have to be patient and let it mature before you can reap its benefits. Once that maturity has been reached, I’ll be sure to make a lot more money on my Hubs. Now I know this isn’t the best answer on how to make quick cash, but it does make money online!

Now that you’ve been accepted into the eBay Affiliate program, you’re ready to make money on the web! Internet marketing will be your key ingredient to make that happen. The marketing of your website will be the most important aspect in your quest to make lots of money. It’s like I used to tell all of my old clients at the marketing firm:
“You can have the next Mona Lisa as your product, but if people don’t know about it, you won’t make a penny.”
Lets be real here, our main purpose in starting a website is to make money. Yes, your website may be based off something that you’re passionate about or have good heart roots, but if I was to say you can make money off your good cause website, you wouldn’t turn that down. If you would, this site isn’t for you.
Making money on the web with internet marketing
Congratulations! You’ve been accepted into the eBay affiliate program and are ready to start earning! This is the hardest part, and the reason I asked you to choose a niche which was highly sought after with relatively low competition and you were passionate about. The reason that I wanted you to be passionate about the subject all boils down to the content you will produce. Content is your bread and butter when it comes to attracting the likes of Google, Yahoo!, and other big name search engines. Without exposure to your website from search engines, you won’t make lots of money.
Search engines do a thing called “crawling” where they have their bots scan your page on a scheduled basis to find out if you’ve introduced new content to the page. All the while, they are looking for keywords that help them understand what the page is exactly about. That is mainly what they’re looking for, to see how often you update your page with fresh content. Because of that, it is important that you update, and update often! If you choose a subject that you aren’t passionate about, you’ll quickly run out of things to talk about and lose traffic rapidly.
Now on that same note, please don’t post 20 articles on your page in one day and then not post anything for several weeks thinking that those 20 articles should satisfy the bots for weeks. The truth is, these bots don’t operate on a “what have you done for me recently basis”, instead it is a “what are you doing for me right now” basis. What that means is if say the bot crawls your page every 5 days for new content, if it finds the 20 new articles on its crawl and then returns in another 5 days to find nothing, that will hurt your rankings with the search engine and will hurt your Quick Cash chances. I tend to update my articles based on how often the bot scans my site. That is the good thing about HostGator, their cPanel awestats page shows when each bot has crawled your page.
If you use WordPress, you can actually write a whole bunch of websites and create a drip feed where you basically schedule when the articles will be posted on your website. This is a good method if you only have a day or two free a week. Like I said, if you want to make money, you’ve got to sacrifice your free time now, so that you can be successful later.
A good starter would be read the Google Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide, a free .pdf file that will give you a rounded knowledge of SEO.
How do I get the search engines to recognize my web site and get pay offs from my internet marketing?
There are actually several ways in which you can get the search engines to begin crawling your site. My recommendation is to use the most natural approach as possible. Due to our age of SPAM, search engines have based their crawling techniques on weeding out those that spam and fill the web with junk in artificial ways.
When I use WordPress, every article I publish is automatically pinged to the search engines to tell them that I’ve posted a new article. However, when I use a BANS site, I will normally submit a separate article to eZinearticles.com with a link to my page. These article sites have a high Page Ranking and are constantly crawled by search engines. So if you have a link to your page on the site, the search engines will find it and put it on the list of pages to crawl.
Another way would be to submit your pages to as many search engines as possible. Whenever I do this, I use Web CEO to submit my site to over 100 search engines. They have a free version which I love and once you get the cash up, you can further enhance your site with the Premium edition.

Where should I put my content to make me money?
I tell everyone that wants to get into affiliate marketing websites in which they will be promoting a product to follow in one of the biggest selling sites on the planet, Amazon.com. Look at their pages, they incorporate not only their product for sale, but tons of content about the site full of bold keywords and consumer reviews. They get so many consumer reviews on a daily basis and guess what? It all adds content to their site, for free! This is how the people at Amazon have become so successful and has made them lots of money.
So on every store page, I recommend you put your auctions first. Remember, first impression is always the most important, so when they see auctions on your site, that is what will be imprinted in their memory for the life of their visit. All over the web, internet marketing has become the key ingredient to getting quick cash. This is what I’ve used to make me money to the likes of $1,000 per week!

How to Make Quick Cash with HubPages Experiment:
I decided that I’m going to try the same experiment that the guys over at TheKeywordAcademy.com did. They decided to post 30 hubs in 30 days on HubPages to see how much can be made. I’ll explain how to make quick cash easily and over the course of the month I’ll keep a log of my earnings.
How to Make Quick Cash with HubPages
HubPages allows you to not only promote your site through article submission, they also allow you to add AdSense to your page along with eBay affiliate auctions, Amazon affiliate auctions, and Kontera text links, so its also another way to learn how to make quick cash with your site. It’s actually a great method of promotion for your site as well, you get paid to promote your site basically being that HubPages has become so popular.
When you sign up to HubPages you are given a score to basically rate your performance and to make sure you aren’t a spammer. From what I’ve heard, your “Hub’s” are given a “nofollow” command on its robots.txt file until you reach a profile score of 70. That means that your Hub won’t be indexed in the search engines until that score is reached.
The Quick Cash Experiment
I will use Micro Niche Finder to conjure up a list of 30 or more keywords. The premises I choose these keywords are based on a variety of factors:
I started this experiment on August 10, 2009 with a brand new account. My starting HubPage score was 11, as of today, I’m up to a 58 after four posts. I’m using back links on each of my pages and have yet to make any money. I think the reason behind this would be that I’m not established yet with a score of 70 or above. I think the guys over at TKA started with a semi-established account, and that’s the reason they made money in their first week. However, since a lot of you guys probably never heard of HubPages, you’d also be starting from scratch so I didn’t want to have a head start on you to make you feel like you were doing something wrong.
**UPDATE: Checked my stats a couple hours after originally publishing this post to find I’ve made $2.00 off one AdSense click. Not much, but its a start! $2.00 for one click and the HubPage isn’t even popular yet. I can’t wait to see when they are popular!**

Make me money with phpBay Pro
Before we start getting ahead of ourselves, lets first worry about getting accepted into the eBay Affiliate program. In order to do that, we need to fill our site with keyword rich content. Adding lots of content lets the good ol’ people at eBay know that you mean business and are driven to generate profits for them, which in turn generates profits for yourself. Besides that, since your site is a WordPress based site, every post you make is pinged. A ping is basically a notification to any search engine willing to listen that your site has been updated and they should crawl the site for interesting content. Once that post has been index, you have successfully voiced your purpose of how hard you’ve worked and have only added to your chances of being bumped up in the search engine rankings and make lots of money.
Start with a base of at least 10 posts, with two (2) of them being 500 word posts and the rest being 150-300 word posts. Make sure your posts contain the keywords you are targeting. I’ll go more into specifying your posts towards the keywords you are after in a later post.
Once you have the 10 posts full of interesting and engaging content, you can then go over to the eBay Partner Network and apply to become an affiliate. Once they accept you, insert your Campaign I.D. into the phpBay Pro settings section and its only a matter of time before you’ve figured out how to make quick cash!
